Centre for IT in Building Science (CBS) in IIIT Hyderabad is organizing a free seminar on IT applications for
Intelligent Buildings and Energy Efficient Building Design on 12th September (Sunday) 2004 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30
P.M. in IIIT campus. With the growing requirements of energy efficient buildings and intelligent buildings it is felt
that professionals, especially architects should be appraised with the latest IT tools required for designing such
buildings. Further, with the energy code for buildings going to be implemented soon there would be a huge
requirement of energy audit consultants. This seminar addresses the IT tool requirements of professionals involved in the design of buildings. Architects, building, civil, mechanical, computer, electronics and electrical engineers and energy audit consultants are encouraged to attend the seminar. Fresh graduates with some project experience are also eligible to attend the seminar. The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Vishal Garg. He is a civil engineer with Ph.D. from Centre for Energy Studies in IIT Delhi in the area of Fuzzy Logic Controls in Buildings. He currently heads the Centre for IT in Building Science in IIIT. Registration is required for attending the seminar, as the seats are limited. Kindly fill the online registration form.
