Placement 2007: Definition
Placement 2007 refers to the on campus job placement assistance provided to
the 2007 graduating batch of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
This excludes the statistics relating to the ongoing individualized
placement assistance being provided to the postgraduate research
students.
Dream & Non dream Jobs: Definition
Job offers that provide work in research, product design &
development or analytics together with an annual compensation not
less than Rs.4.5 lac are dream offers, and all others
non dream offers.
Placement season
Placement season 2007 was conducted in 24 days, over six weeks,
starting December 3, 2006, mostly on weekends, public holidays,
and during winter vacation.
