Prof. Rajeev Sangal Bestowed With Prestigious INAE Fellowship
 
Prof. Rajeev Sangal, IIIT-H’s Director and Head of IIIT-H’s Language Technologies Research Center (LTRC), has, in recognition of his contribution to engineering research in India – particularly his pioneering work in machine translation and language technologies – been named a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), (October 2009).
 
Prof. Yegnanarayana and Prof. VU Reddy are the only two other stalwarts of IIIT-H to have received this honor in the past.
