• All admissions are through IIIT, Hyderabad portals.

II. Modes of Admission

a). [AIEEE] - Students should take AIEEE-2011, and must separately apply for IIIT counseling. The students will be admitted on the basis of the rank in the examination.

b). AIEEE + Interview [AIEEE+I] - For CLD and CHD trans disciplinary programs, the students should not only qualify in AIEEE exam but must go through an interview to get admitted.
Programs: CEH, CLD
Eligibility: Students must take AIEEE-2011 exam and short-listed candidates are called for interview at the institute.
Application Process: Apply through portal specific for this mode of admission.
Application Fees: Rs. 1200.
Selection Process: Based on candidates record and outcome of the interview.

c). Entrance Exam and Interview [EI] - For CLD and CHD trans disciplinary programs, students who are not eligible to take AIEEE exam must go through an exam interview to get admitted.
Programs: CEH, CLD
Eligibility: For Humanities, Arts and Social sciences candidates with Mathematics in 12th class (NOT eligible to take AIEEE exam). Short-listed candidates will be called for entrance exam and interview at the institute.

Selection Process: Based on candidates record and outcome of the entrance exam and interview.

e). [DASA] - For CSE and ECE programs, students who have foreign passports or have studies abroad are admitted based on their SAT (or) SAT II scores.
Programs: CSE, ECE
Eligibility: Applicants should have studied 11th and 12th or equivalent outside India, (or) Must be a foreign passport holder. Further, a minimum of 2000 SAT Subject Score (Physics+Chemistry+Mathematics II) [earlier known as SAT-II] (or) SAT score in maths /aptitude of at least 90 percentile, and SAT score in reading /writing of at least 85 Percentile. It is recommended that they take AP Calculus course, AP Physics or AP Chemistry course.
