R & D Showcase 2004 is the third annual research &
development exhibition showcasing prominent work done at the Institute. The
exhibits are winnowed out from a multitude of undertakings covering diverse domains
such as Bioinformatics, Communications, Computer Aided Structural Engineering,
Data Engineering, Education & Entertainment, IT in Building Sciences,
Language Technologies, Networking, Robotics, VLSI & Embedded Systems and
Visual Information Technologies.
Bioinformatics
The activities in Bioinformatics include the
utilization of analytical and computational tools, databases and software for
the management, analysis and visualization of experimental data (in Tera Bytes)
generated in the areas of contemporary genetics and molecular biology.
